STREAMLINING OPERATIONS

SilkRoad technology - Enterprise Application Suite (SAAS)

When working with Enterprise Suites there are unlimited moving parts and several interoperability concerns that must be considered.  This project spanned over the course of a year and comprised of creating new Time Off functionality (front end (web & mobile) and administrative), translating the Benefits selection process from paper to digital and several other projects, all while maintaining compliance with other suite applications going through a redesign.

TIME OFF FUNCTIONALITY

Requesting time off from different perspectives.  Admin functionality intentionally not displayed.

TIME OFF (USER)

Requesting time off requires the user to consider various options.  To address this, time off tallies are provided on screen for quick reference.  Depending on the users role, several workflow tasks may also be necessary for approval.  This version allowed the user to see the intended approver and provided the ability to skip them or select another (when available) to expedite the process.

TIME OFF (APPROVER)

Users who have additional approval responsibilities were presented with approvals from directly within their time off application so that switching was not necessary for management.

TIME OFF (WITH CONFLICTS)

Requesting (and approving) time off can be tricky when you have low seniority or a small team.  This version allowed users and managers the ability to see any potential conflicts during the request process so that they could easily adjust to address any potential issues.
